VARIABLE RATE LOAN
As the name implies, the interest rate on these loans varies at anytime depending on economic conditions. This allows clients to have more flexibility with their finances.
FIXED RATE LOAN
This is when you select to fix the rate for a set term and the rate will not move during this time. The most common fixed terms are from 1 to 5 years, however some lenders offer fixed terms of up to 15 years. Keeping in mind that if you need to get out of the loan during the fixed term the lender may charge you early exit fees etc.
